Rabbi Jeffrey B. Ableser Temple Beth El Flint
Rabbi Jeffrey Ableser joined Temple Beth El in August 2018, after retiring from Congregation Beth El of Windsor, Ontario. He served the Windsor congregation for twenty-five years, and before that served congregations in Arizona, California, and Toronto. He was ordained from Hebrew Union College in Cincinnati in 1981.
Rabbi Ableser lives with his wife Judy in Clarkston, Michigan, a pleasant half-hour drive from our congregation. They have three adult children: Daniel, Rachel, and Jake (married to Daniela) and a grandson (Ari).
He serves Beth El on a part-time basis, leading some weekly services as well as holiday services and teaching classes in Jewish studies. He endeavors to serve the individual needs of all of our congregants. You are invited to meet with Rabbi Ableser either in person or via Zoom, FaceTime, etc.
